Black Foil
Does anyone know where I can buy some Black Foil? On a Roll like kitchen Foil.
Its for Wrapping a Chocolate Heart box
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...e=STRK:MESE:IT
The trouble is the Foil I am using is 6x6 Inches and its not enough, It does the job if I use 2 Sheets but really I need 10x10 inch foil Squares, or Ideally, a Foil Roll that I can cut myself.
Ive had the idea of Black with Red Ribbon rather than Gold and Pink, but everytime i type in google it comes up with American sites even when I select UK Sites, and every place I do find that sells Foil, they only have gold, silver or red.
If anyone knows a good place i would appreciate it immensely.

Re: Black Foil
You want something like wrapping foil and not kitchen foil.. Any card/gift shop should have various colored foils

Re: Black Foil
Ive tried local gift shops, Kitchen foil is too thick anyway but trying to find black foil on google is literally an impossibility
I know they do it somewhere as ive seen chocolates wrapped in black foil on google

Confectionery foil works, that's whats in my picture, but they are all too small to go around the chocolate box
Paper would be even trickier to shape round the boxes as the boxes themselves are so delicate.

Re: Black Foil
If you're not tied to having to have foil maybe you could consider trying some Black Chiffon. It's quite fine and you would be able to see though it. It would certainly be easy to use.
..... as an example as there are different types, thickness's and textures. :-

Re: Black Foil
I saw cellophane earlier, but when I mean see through i mean just to make out the texture underneath, not actually be able to see through it.
It needs to be cut off from air, so it seems cellophane is the only option, all the foil ive seen thats black is in America.
UNBELIEVABLE
Been looking for some in the UK for 3 hours now, lol

Re: Black Foil
Seems to be only Silver Gold or Red available on a roll (for Easter eggs).
You could use one of the colours you can get & stick it in a black cellophane bag. At least being wrapped in one sheet it will look more professional to start with.
