Do electronic salesman dream of cashless sales

My story.

I preordered Battlefield Bad Company 2 from Game store online.

I asked for it to be delivered to their store near me (as i would be working).

On the day of release, no sign of it in the store, they hadn't received it..and worse, i was told it wouldn't come until Tuesday (4 days later).

Annoyed, I contacted Game, said I wanted a refund, and could they process it. (i was very polite).

Received email quite quickly, asking for some details (account number etc), which i sent.

No reply a few days later. I again sent an email asking about my order, and being reimbursed.

Subsequently, my account was debited..argghhh.

Once again I asked for reimbursement.

Now, today, i receive an email saying,
"Thank you for your recent order placed on www.game.co.uk
Unfortunately your order has been returned to us by the Postal Service.
Please could you contact us to confirm if you would like a refund or the order redelivered (please also confirm the delivery address)"

The delivery address...their store..http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/im...milies/mad.gif
arrghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hhhhhhhh! oh, argghhhh

Sounds ominously familiar.

I have nothing but problems with deliveries from Parcel Force that require a signature. No knock or ring, just a card slammed through the letterbox and a driver sprinting back to his vehicle without a package under his arm. Says it all don't it. He knows damned well I'm a wheelchair user too.

I think I would set up a camera for the occasion, to catch the lazy b****r out.

Re: Do electronic salesman dream of cashless sales

Ahhh

But the real issue is, the address they were delivering to was Game shop in Edinburgh, which I was picking my order up from.

Game asked me to confirm their shop address...which was automatically filled in by their website.

As to postal service..yes, not a great service..I have had mail being delayed. That said..i rarely use them for that reason

Wait, i use them for no other reason..oh, well..you know what I mean
