Am going to see a concert there this weekend, just wondering if anyone has any experience on the best place to park nearby, is there a carpark at the guildhall itself or?

there's a car park just behind i believe either a yates or wetherspoons which is only 200 yards from the guildhall, that's where i parked last time i went there, it's fairly big, just go onto google earth and you'll see it, that's the best way to look for things like car parks

There are loads of them Graham..and during the evening they are a lot less busy.You can also park in some roads around the area.Your big problem is that the Guildhall is bang in the middle of an enormous confusing roundabout.
