Advice on a plant
Im looking for a plant for my hallway.
I want one that doesnt require a lot of light as the hallway doesnt have a window and gets it light from the bedroom and living room and also doesnt require a lot of attention eg feeding every day etc.
Any ideas what i can get and where from?

Re: Advice on a plant
I got a big Yucca as a housewarming present. It was bought from Ikea and is pretty low maintenance.

Re: Advice on a plant
Why not try a Mother-in-Laws Tongue - AKA - Snake plant. Doesn't need much looking after apart from watering occasionally.
We've got one that I haven't managed to kill - yet!

Hope this is of some use.

Re: Advice on a plant
You could get an Aspidistra. Grows in any conditions and thrives on neglect. I left one of mine out side all winter, by mistake not as an act of cruelty, and it has survived freezing conditions and being buried for some time in a snow drift. Brought it in a couple of weeks ago and it looks fine and has even pushed up some new shoots.
