Does anyone know how this works?

As per the title really, my mum got it for my Brithday but there were no instructions with it.

It's a Tandoori cooking set but I am a bit stumped on how to use it really, my Google skills are weak although i did find another one for sale on eBay

Thanks in advance!
Andy

Re: Does anyone know how this works?

Is that a heat brick? A bit like a chinese hot iron cooker? If so heat it up over a gas flame, then sear skewered meat on it?

I think you need the Tandoor as well.

Re: Does anyone know how this works?

If it's actually brick you will need to heat it in the oven rather than over a gas flame. I use my cast iron ones as serving platters when I am serving either Chinese or Indian meals to friends. Got mine several years ago from the local Chinese wholesalers.

I cook the meat or whatever the normal way and just transfer it to the sizzling plates so that the food stays really hot while we all natter. Look quite posh
