Ive noticed myself that stores seem to be getting reading ready for things earlier and earlier, take pancake day, i was in Tesco the other day and they already had the flour and eggs in :-D

The very first day that Morrisons on Kirkstall road opened after Christmas, I saw the staff putting cream eggs and Cadburys mini eggs on display at the end of an aisle.
That was December the 28th.
