It's nearly that time of year again.
In several days it will be the end of the year again, and we look back on the past year, and say, what have we done this year, that we could have done better.
I have had a rotten year to be quite honest, and will be glad when 2010 arrives, l was hit with every bug going, along with my wife and family.
When everyone goes out on New Years Eve, remember your family, friends and those people that are down on there luck, pick up that phone and say hello to someone you haven't spoke to for a few years, l have had a few shocks this year from people that l haven't from, it is amazing.
Remember the armed services, who fight for your freedom and the sacrifices that they have made to give us that freedom, if you see an OAP wearing his or her medals, go and shake there hands and say thank you, and if you see a member of the armed services in uniform go and give them a hug and say thank you, they are prepared to give there life for YOU.
I have had loads of whinging, but harmless fun on this forum, and its always nice to get it off your chest - so have a great New Year, DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE. - and to all my friends, have a great New Year.

Re: It's nearly that time of year again.
This year has seen me lose everything that I've spent the last 5 years of my life building. The future that I'd dreamed of and planned for has been taken from me. Everything that I wanted for the rest of my life I have now lost.
I will be glad to see the back of 2009 and all the misery that it brought with it.

That's a bit tough really, to be struck down with illness and then to be hit by your wife and family, just piles on the bad luck.

Your only free because of our forces, & don't you forget it. Our forces are still fighting & dying in Afghanistan.

Not going out NYE. Everywhere is full of drunken yobs that want to get bladdered and it's all overpriced. I'll be staying in the warm with a few beers and my partner. Get yourself on Facebook Arthur - phone is school!

Now this may be controversial: Yep I will - but not for the current lot who are in Afghanistan or Iraq - they shoud'nt be over there IMHO.
