will corner shops be open today

I wondered if them corner shops of ours will be open today, I need to pick up supplies but Im not sure if they are closed or not. Its too cold to just go and find out.

Jacksons, it's the baby off shoot of Sainsburys, very busy they are as well which surprised me..

Most shops will be open AFAIK... Sales have started already.

Just go out and the fresh air will do you good.

The big super markets won't.

garages/costcutter were open yesterday [the whole country is not Christian ]
so i would say there is a good possibility - drag your self out for a stroll it will do you good

yep most of the shops will be open today and i'm for for a long walk with my dog ...work of some that feasting and quaffing from yesterday dont ya know

Tesco is open but just until 6pm. Just popped in my Lincoln branch and the staff outnumbered the shoppers. Quite a refreshing change after the pre-Christmas wall to wall frenzy.

Your local Tesco Express will be open, ours is.

God bless Mr Singh in my case, he made loads yesterday according to him when I went in for some ciggies. I asked him what time he was closing? He said supposed to be 7 but if it keeps going like this I'll stop open until 10pm. His shelves were nearly empty, all the bread, milk and beer had gone.

He's had the shop for the last 25 years and across the road is a massive TESCO which has been there since the middle 80's he's much cheaper on nearly everything than Tesco, on some items he's got signs saying beat that Tesco. The man is pure class in everyway.

well I managed out and he was open. Its good to see others not celebrating christmas in the lazy way. I just went in for two bottles of booze and the shop was pretty busy, im sure he is doing very well over the season.

Good for him, but this shop is never busy at the best of times. people only buy fags/electric/gas from him, and other stuff if they're desperate.
the guy is alright, but he's too expensive. I'll ask him in the week if he made enough to cover the electric.
