Finished at 3. Presentation went well for me. And interview. Technical test was a bit hard for me tho. Mind you a bit more practice and it would be easy enough. Cables into phone sockets etc. Good day really. Anyone else goes and u will enjoy it. Don't think I get job tho!! Cos quiet a few ex bt engineers were there and had more experience

just before 2, had to get back quick as my good lady had to go to hospital to have baby. The teambuilding test we had to do was make something that would allow us to throw a raw egg out of the window 3mtrs high without it breaking, and well we managed that through effective teamwork. Presentation could have been better all that practice and I made a mistake. Have you got an assessment to go to?

got mine next week. how long was the interview? was it just competency based questions? how many people were there?

Does anyone know how long after the assessemnt day we find out if were sucessfull or not? Just wondering as I have an assessement day in a few weeks.

I had my assessment day on Tuesday. And still havnt heard anything yet!!

I had my assesment last fri, heard on mon that i got the position, so really quick for me.

How much notification do they give you for the assesment day? I get the feeling from what I've heard that the day is pretty soon after they invite you to it?

It will depend on when they can get you in. The sooner the better though.

Yeah would love to get out of my current company asap. Hoping they will call me soon asking to come to the assesment day. From what I've read, last years apprenticeship started in April. That ain't that far away!!!

thanx. and gd luck to every1 else. if u havent had ur assessment day, dont panic 2 much, its relaxed and enjoyable. just get involved in everything. the technical test is really quite simple but the tools they provided were old 1's and that can make it quite difficult, just pay attention to the demonstration.
