Club Stuff!

A mate at work runs a little martial arts club in the local hall in his spare time, he keeps the records of all the members and like a little register on an excel spreadsheet.

As the club is growing he would like a little more help from his computer to make what he does a little easier.

What he is after is a program, not web based, that he can input the member’s details, including pics into so when he types their number in it brings up their info, stuff like, last attended, subs paid, grade they are on etc.

With the register included so he can see with a click who attended that week, last week.

Not very computer literate so it has to be something already made that he can add to.

I know with effort that all this can be done on excel and he has seen web based programs like Clubrunner but that is way out of budget and just goes too far for the clubs needs.

Absolutely certain this is the place to ask as you odd lot seem to come up with loads of good ideas

Re: Club Stuff!

probably could be done in ms works database cheeply as ms works comes bundled with most computers free.

It would be the ideal thing to do on the web though, is his issue with it being web based to do with internet connectivity as he could always run it off his pc using aeonserve.

Re: Club Stuff!

This looks pretty comprehensive. Not free but affordable. Also you can download a fully functional trial (limitde to 20 members).
