Hi to all,

I am an individual who would like to cooperate with a company where I would recommend my clients to the company upon a commission basis. Basically I am going to find my clients through the web!

This company has a Head Office and some offices (branches which are real offices and not virtual), and some associates / affiliates accross the globe, with postal addresses, telephones, faxes and emails.

I would like to be a representative of that company whereas I must create my own website!

I am in the stage to build my website and arrange my domain / email, etc and I have some questions:

When there is a new enquiry through the submission "Contact Form" of my website, the system by default sends an email for each submission to the assigned email or emails (simultaneously). Then all requests of my Contact Form, will be delivered to the pre assigned recipient or recipients.

In this point, I would like to mention that my hosting provider will be Microsoft, i.e. http://neroman-abc.web.officelive.com

The system by default, sends each enquiry to those emails and shows the name of the company (i.e., abc.com which is the sender) into the Inbox folder of the recipient, i.e. as follows: ContactUsForm@abc.com.

This email can be forwarded to a dedicated address of my associate company's end (to the other part, my associate). So I could set an Auto-Forwarding from my Domain to my associate email address.

For example, if the pre-assigned email addresses are as follows: my email address is neroman@abc.com and my associate's email is associate@office.router.com, then for each new submission both emails will be receiving the same request.

Until now the procedure seems to be ok!

BUT

How can I operate my business (actually my website) in such way where me and the other part (my associate) be able to identify and distinguish those clients which have been introduced and/ or reffered by me? This is very important because otherwise we can easily lose the control!

In this point, I prepared a diagram as an example. You can review it and add your comments. (See the attached)

According to the diagram, how can I utilise a proper set up where each party will be acting IN EYES OF THEIR CLIENTS like a separate/ unique business, for example, every business will have its own clients, but actually both will be under an associated group or an affiliated umbrella?

I have considered the followings: In order to be accomplished the above, I could create a new email address: i.e. neroman@abc.com. When a new enquiry is submitted by a client, using the ContactUsForm@abc.com of my website, then this enquiry should automatically be POINTED (and executed) from the ContactUsForm@abc.com (of my website) TO neroman@abc.com (of my website) and then automatically, the same address: neroman@abc.com (my email address) by using Auto-Forwarding, should automatically forward the same email or my client's query (was received from ContactUsForm@abc.com) , to my associate's email address which into the attached diagram is: associate@office.router.com.

BUT NOW WHAT I WOULD LIKE TO ACCOMPLISH IS: THE SENDER (SHOWN INTO THE CLIENT'S EYES) NOT BE associate@office.router.com BUT neroman@abc.com!

In simply words, If I set up neroman@abc.com pointing to(AUTO-FORWARDING TO) associate@office.router.com then my associate could set his system to recognise neroman@abc.com and reply from that address.

I think, in order to make the set up simpler, whilst my hosting will be with Microsoft, i.e. http://neroman-abc.web.officelive.com, I can request their help in order to set an auto-reply from that address:
neroman@abc.com to the client’s email address (which the system will identify through the client's first request from ContactUsForm@abc.com).

According to the diagram, when the client receives an Auto-Reply from associate@office.router.com, actually the client should see that he got an email from neroman@abc.com and NOT associate@office.router.com so therefore he/she can reply to the same address (neroman@abc.com).

I would appreciate if you would examine this case step by step and I would like to hear your comments or/and your suggestions!

For instance, ABC = My Company's name, then my hosting provider will be Microsoft, under http://ABC.web.officelive.com

When somebody sends a new enquiry through the submission "Contact Form" of my website, the system by default, notifies / sends an email at once, simultaneously to the recipient or recipients with the details of this enquiry to the pre-assigned email or emails as follows:

A message from "client name" Tuesday, 10 November 2009, 9:11
From: "ContactUsForm@officelive.com" <ContactUsForm@officelive.com>

You have received the following message through the Contact Us form on your Microsoft Office Live Small Business Web site:

From: client name
Phone: client's tel number
E-mail: client@companyname.com
Message: client's request..........................

This message has been automatically saved to the activity history for client name. View this person's contact information and activity history: http://ABCWebofficelivecom.officelive.co...aspx?ID=4.

The pre-assigned email addresses would be:

1. My domain name: neroman@abc.COM (Mine) and
2. My associate's separate domain contolled by my associate neroman@abc.NET (Yours), .

For each new submission both emails will be receiving the same request.

Until now the procedure seems to be ok!

BUT

How can I operate my business (actually my website) in such way where me and the other part (my associate) be able to identify and distinguish those clients which have been introduced and/ or reffered by me? This is very important because otherwise we can easily lose the control!

When a new enquiry is submitted by a client, the clients will use the ContactUsForm@officelive.com (of my website), then this enquiry should automatically be POINTED from the ContactUsForm@officelive.com (of my website) TO neroman@abc.COM (of my website) AND ALSO TO neroman@abc.NET which be controlled by my associate.

Then my associate should automatically notify me (by using Auto-Forwarding) and send me an email FROM neroman@abc.NET (Yours) to neroman@abc.COM (Mine) with description email content/answer sent from my associate to the client (actually my client).

NOTE:
then this point might be useless for my associate's setup and could be bypassed and ignored! Then the result would be from: ContactUsForm@officelive.com DIRECTLY POINTED TO neroman@abc.NET (Yours) and TO neroman@abc.COM (Mine)

If my associate assign an AUTO - FORWARDING, as shown into the diagram, from [neroman@abc.NET (Yours) TO: admin@XYZ.router5.com (Yours)], I do not know if this setup would be useless. If this point be bypassed and ignored, then the result will be: From [ContactUsForm@officelive.com (DIRECTLY) POINTED TO neroman@abc.NET (Yours) and ALSO TO neroman@abc.COM (Mine)].

BUT WHAT I WOULD LIKE TO ACCOMPLISH IS: THE SENDER (WHICH SHOULD BE SHOWN INTO THE CLIENT'S EYES) TO BE neroman@abc.NET (Yours) AND NOT admin@XYZ.router5.com
In simply words, my associate should set his system to recognise neroman@abc.NET(Yours) and reply from that address.

Moreover, according to the diagram, If the above mentioned point is not bypassed, , then when the client receives an Auto-Reply from admin@XYZ.router5.com, actually my associate should set his system with such way where the client should NOT see that he got an email from admin@XYZ.router5.com BUT FROM neroman@abc.NET!
Therefore the client can reply (send a feedback) to the same address (neroman@abc.NET), my associate's email, BUT AGAIN according to the diagram, the client's feedback should come (I do not know how) also to my email: neroman@abc.COM(Mine)

I would appreciate if you would examine this case step by step and I would like to hear your comments or/and your suggestions!
