Age difference in relationships
I was reading the story about the couple having twins. him being 71, and her being 25. that's a difference of 46 years.
by the time the kids become teenagers he'll most probably have died of old age.
what age difference would you feel comfortable with, either with or without kids?
I'm happy with 18 minimum, and 46 maximum

It's a big difference in my eyes, maybe a little too much. Without being harsh, he could drop dead any moment.

Re: Age difference in relationships
But the twins have a young mother and that will more than compensate. If they were both in their 70s it might be a problem though.

Re: Age difference in relationships
My first marriage was with an older guy, 18 years older.
At first all was well, then as we got older the devide started.
We were wanting different things out of our lives.
It works for some of course.
Second marriage now, and my guy is 11 years older than me.
But as I was older when we met, its not a problem at all.
Infact all who know us, say I am keeping him young at heart and all that jazz

Lol! I think provided both parties are of a similar mind set and understanding, there won't be a problem. People forget that a good relationship is built around trust and the ability to communicate. It's when people don't talk that things go wrong. You can have any age gap and still have the ability to talk and love.
That said, at a physical level, 46 years is a lot. So it appears this guy managed it, but I'm pretty sure she will want more. What happens when he can no longer provide the quench to her physical needs

Indeed bu theres more chance with the older fella. Plus, he will hardly be able to see them through their life as a child will he?

Re: Age difference in relationships
Yet an older fella is more likely to stay with the family than run away ofter the first bit of skirt he finds in the local night club
