eBay question

I have bought something from eBay and the seller has arranged for me to collect at a particular time from his shop ...

He has now gone out the country but has not told me where his shop is ...

Any ideas ? I have a post code .. but not the name of the shop or in fact if it is a shop or a house ..

Just wait for him to come back and or drop him a message and a member of his staff might be manning the shop

Re: eBay question

Although you only have a postcode you might find more info if you do a members details request (you need to provide the members ebay name and the item number) both you and him should then get emails with the details of this request. (please note this only works if he has given ebay the full address)

Go to ADVANCED SEARCH and then on the left you should have FIND CONTACT INFORMATION

Re: eBay question

I'm having a bit of a problem at the mo. Sold my 360 on Monday and got a note from the winner saying send me an invoice etc etc, so i did. Then on tuesday i checked my messages again and realised that they'd added a note to the bottom of the invoice request saying something along the lines of "how soon can you ship this? Then i'll send payment"

So of course i messaged them back right away saying sorry i hadn't noticed your note and told them i'd ship it out right away but still i've not heard back from them or had payment.

I think it's really cheeky how they've asked when i'll send it and said they'll pay when i tell them, but yet still no reply. They've got 100% positive feedback from 21 people so i doubt they're the 'typical' scammer.

Do i have to wait 7 days until i can open a dispute? I think i should message them again saying can you just pay so i can send it to you and not have to deal with the hassle of a dispute.

Re: eBay question

No payment no Xbox is the way I would go with this, if you do not accept Paypal then tell them to send the money by cheque and that when it clears you will send the Xbox.

If you send the Xbox without receiving payment first then it is unlikely that you will get any money from them.

I would never send anything without getting paid first.
