Talking credit cards

well just had my credit limit reduced , never missed a payment or been late , all in all the perfect customer but the banks are making others pay for their mistakes , well thats the new yacht I was planning down the swanny .

If not the chances are you niver will, and if you card gets cloned they won't lose much.

Pah, there's only one way to pay for a yacht. Save your money. Then when you've bought it, call it Dignity. You can sail it up the west coast, through villages and towns.

What banks are doing there is realising that if you let some people know they have £20000.00 on their card to spend on what they so wish, some people take it literally.

Oops, nearly forgot, having your credit limit decreased is apparently good for your credit rating.
If you applied for credit and the company noticed you had say a £20000.00 limit, they would not take much notice of the fact that you owe zilch on said credit card, they see the £20000.00 available credit, hence in their eyes the risk.

Well, I have 18K limit on my Amex, and 15K on my Visa, and I have no problem getting credit.

But to be fair, I do pay my credit card bills off in full every month.
