Well when I was a kid very, very few people celebrated Halloween as it was considered heathenish and pagan by the church going community.Wiccan and paganism were hardly known about let alone worshipped.We certainly didn't know anything about the US version but now we have been conned into celebrating it by profit hungry retailers like Tesco and Asda.
I won't celebrate it for the latter reason as I feel it's a bolted on affair to our culture.
I'll still be luring poor little innocent children into my spooky witches lair on the night to party away whilst their parents, quite a few of whom used to come to my lair as children, have a sup of my potent brew.
