What career path do you wish you'd chosen?
I wish I'd been a musician - music has so much power to influence, move people and give pleasure plus it's universal so not constrained by language. I play a mean air guitar and virtual piano too.....
How about you?

I'm not one for regrets and I reckon I'm where I'm meant to be job wise.

and thank the Lord that people still want to be teachers....
Our eldest would make a fine teacher - I watch him tutoring the junior karate students 4 times a week and he has all the calm and patience I never had (he must have inherited it from his late mother )

Should have paid attention in school, now you have to settle for being a scientist.

I would have loved to go into directing or organising shows, concerts, or being responsable for bringing everything together to make something happen.

Either a pilot or paramedic. I toyed with both options but in the end I played it safe and fell back on IT. Regret it more-or-less every day now.

Re: What career path do you wish you'd chosen?
i started off as a welder/heavy plate fabricator but although i was pretty good at it i wasn't happy , so i moved into communications [post office telephones ]
iv'e been a telephone engineer for the past 30 years ,these days i also dable in catv/bb , it has kept the wolf from the door and given me a reasonable income and still dishes out challenges to tax my skills ,so i think I'm where im meant to be ,its what i'm good at ,i would like to be paid more [as would most people i suppose]but you cant have every thing in life

Re: What career path do you wish you'd chosen?
I think I'd have liked to be an engineer.
At one point I'd have liked to be a teacher, but I'm too bad at it.
Now, well I'm working on getting a degree in computing and hope to get a job at the end of it.

Re: What career path do you wish you'd chosen?
Looking back, I think I would have like to be an artist, was always top of the class. My Dad offered to pay for lessons, but I just wanted to get a job and earn my keep. My daughter however inherited this gift, and went on to get herself a degree in art.
