Has anyone got one of these?

I have just got one and wanted to know if the CD player plays your own CD's?

Mine does sometimes and wont most of the time!!!

Just wondered if it was a fault or not?

This is always a bit of a funny one with Car Stereos, most will but some just refuse point blank. Have you tried more than one brand of CD? Try one specifically marketed as a Music CD-R

Yeah have tried a few!

Try burning the CD at slower speeds and try a different burning app if you've not already, my car stereo won't play CDs burnt by Windows Media Player bizarrely.

Try burning them as WMA files in your playlist.
What software are you using to convert/burn them? I always find Winamp to be really good.

Mine is the same, I can only play Cd's which are burned by CD creator.

A tip I picked up some years ago, car CD players only like the cheap discs for some strange reason, I was using the expensive ones from PC world which didn't work, I tried a cheap version of CD which played without any problem.

I had the same problem with my '57 plated Toyota.
Burning at x8 instead of x40 sorted the problem.
