Like the S40 RDesign... was better looks wise imo before they made the DRIVe model (silly wheels etc). S40s have always been nice to drive and be a passenger in, with plenty of standard kit (cruise control etc) so the 1.6D should be good and economical

Not familiar with that model but I've always liked volvos ever since my father had an Amazon 122 Estate model whilst we lived in South Africa in the '70s
Currently still got an old '96 850 2.0 auto estate that's just coming upto 200,000 miles and still going strong..
