Any idea what these are?

I was cleaning our spare room earlier and found a few of these scattered around under the bed and around the skirting boards, also one of them had like a worm inside it.

Now i think they r dust mites of some sort but mum is panicing that its something in the carpet.

Mum has Parkinsons and rarely cleans the spare room as she doesnt use it so thats why im thinking dust mites.

Another possibility is carpet beetles, especially if it's a wool-mix carpet.

Re: Any idea what these are?

Ive never seen little white things like that before.
Suck em up with the hoover then squirt something on the carpet, that might stop them from coming back.

Tell her not to worry though, they are just little creatures that want a home to live in, but preferably not your Mums!!!
