Looking for clip frames for wall maps
I'm looking for some clip frames for some wall maps, they are 110cm x 82cm. I can't seem to find anything.
I've had this problem before, why it so difficuilt, they must be some sort of standard poster sizes, so why can't you get frames to suit them.
.....and yes I have googled, quite extensively.

Re: Looking for clip frames for wall maps
If you can't find anything to fit you could consider buying sheet perspex and and mounting them your self.
I have done this for a client in the past who wanted one of my drawings mounted flush on a narrow hallway where a frame sticking out would have been out of the question.
I got the perspex from B & Q and used mirror brackets to attach it to the wall.

Thanks Jo, after all, the backing on a clip frame doesn't really do much, it's only think cardboard.

It's actually a few mm thick of pressed board and the hole location/spacing is what tensions up the clip. But you could just use a sandwich of perspex/acrylic and some corner mounts as Joglynne has said quite easy.. great idea and one I'll be looking at

The you;ve got the clips needed, just chop up the backing board grab a piece of perspex and use the individual holed backing board sections with the clips

Re: Looking for clip frames for wall maps
Wilkinsons do large frames but the larger sizes use perspex instead of glass for safety.
