Sounds like your potty training wasn't done properly
But seriously it is the time of year when spiders seem to be invading my house. Nothign worse than waking up bleary eyed, wandering downstairs straight into a cobweb

I can think of several things that are far worse. Try walking into a chimney breast, or falling down the stairs for starters. Wimp!

Re: Spiders!
That's nothing compared to the spider I found in the bathroom when I was in Thailand. I picked up my washbag that had been perched on the side of the bath and underneath it on the side of the bath was the mother of all spiders! <MOD EDIT: Excessively large format image link deleted> It was about 6 to 8 inches from the tip of one leg to the tip of another and it moved like greased lightning. It's a huntsman spider and is fairly harmless to humans, but I wasn't letting that thing touch me, I'd have beaten Usain Bolt out of that bathroom! The one I saw was darker and far hairier than the picture above.
