electrical qualifications
Does anyone know if a South African's electrical qualifications are valid in the UK and if you do not know whom do I contact to find out

Depends on what work your looking at going into, domestic installs will need part p, industrial and IIRC commercial does not require it. What work were you looking for ?

No mate the lowest you need is the 16th edition to be a sparky in the UK, infact I think it's gone up to the 18th edition now.

So where and what were you into in SA mate, worked all over the place myself, Mmabatho, Whitburg, Carolina, Virginia, Rustenburg, sooooooooooo many places, too many to name, great times

Qualified in East London worked all over RSA Cape Town JHB Durban etc....
and been back and fowards to the UK for years
Worked a lot in the Live Concert Industry as I am A sound Engineer as well

I see, nice one, I worked mainly in the mining sector, gold, platinum, diamonds and coal, and a good 2 and a bit year reticulation project in the North West
