CEO email addys site
I don't know how up to date this is but I thought it might prove useful to anyone in dispute or needing advice with/from any of these organisations.I've not seen it posted here(at least not recently) so I hope it is useful.

Re: CEO email addys site
You know, there is a reason why they try to keep these addresses secret...

Possibly but I maintain that a CEO needs to know what's happening at the thin end as well as the thick end. There are a lot of people in between trying to stop them knowing so as to cover their own inadequacies.

Or, in most cases, their PA's will be vetting the email.

While that maybe true, getting their inboxes full with things that can be handled by people lower in the 'food-chain' is certainly not going to help the company.
I find it rather amusing though when anyone takes anything above my head:
Customer "I want to speak with your manager, this can't be right, i mean... Blah blah"
Me "Sure, he's sat right over there, give me a moment, i'll transfer you".
Manager *Backs up everything i've said perfectly*
Customer "Oh..."
Net result? Managers time wasted.
Could be the CEO though
Then again, i know of one or two of my colleagues who i want to report to the CEO myself, though a manager is more than adequate.
The list will come in handy though. If they really didn't want their mail addresses in public, they'd change the occasionally, or have them filtered at least i suppose

Well it can't be any worse than dealing with subordinates who just put the phone down or pass you from pillar to post.At least you can get everything off your chest even if it never gets to the 'boss' and it will be read by someone who may be able to deal...

I work in a place that has not ever put the phone down on someone in need of genuine help, so i guess i see things a bit differently.

Well that's why people get desperate because many, many people do not get a good or adequate response at all ,hence Frank setting up the first ntlhellworld in the first place.

The companies who's names are on that list are more than aware of these email addresses being easily available in the public domain and you will find that not a single one of these email addresses are the real ones for the person named.
They have staff who have the job of reading these mails and processing them to ensure that the relevant person/s or department/s deal with them effectively and any reply will have a copy signature printed on them.
All these email addresses are for is to give people the impression that the boss of the company actually is dealing with their enquiry, which is a fantastic bit of publicity for the PR departments.

Re: CEO email addys site
I bet however that any POSITIVE emails get read by the boss or any that make good sound sense rather than those being a complaint or one long rant.

I expect so but probably only a small percentage of them.

Re: CEO email addys site
None of them even care.
They only worry about what goes in their back pockets and stuffed brown paper envelopes, same as MPs do.

If I remember rightly that guy sent so many letters they could not fail to answer him.
