Mobile upgrade time any recommendations??

Hi

its about time for my mobile phone upgrade
as my current contract ends at september
and i should be able to get new mobile a month before

but looking at the newer models there isn't really any model that stands out well

Iphone too expensive compared to other phones and lengthy contract

currently looking at the Nokia N97 which looks ok
but hearing theres currently some bugs (should be fixed later)
and reviews ain't that great
but its still an option

also looking at these new android OS phones HTC magic and coming soon HTC Hero
looks good but dunno how good/bad the android OS is

actually all these windows mobile OS phones looks okay (all those HTC touch phones)
but im currently using a samsung Omnia and the specs doesnt really look much like a upgrade from this phone

well im looking for a phone where i can get programs or apps to play around with (why im looking at S60, winmo, and android phones)
and don't really like sony erricson

so any1 here has been looking at new mobiles
and what do u guys think would be a good phone to get

Re: Mobile upgrade time any recommendations??

I use the HTC Tytn II but if I was to upgrade then I would be looking at the Touch Pro II or Touch Diamond II.

I have always preferred HTC to other brands and the models just keep on getting better.
