I can see a few establishments quickly rubbing "Death by Chocolate" off the menu.

Re: US worker dies in chocolate vat
I'm not sure what type of chocolate they were making but the whole batch is now ruined as it contains some nuts.
*slinks through door in shame*
Seriously it does sound a fairly horrific way to go. It happens every so often with people falling into vats at breweries and the like.

Re: US worker dies in chocolate vat
The shampoo factory where I used to work nearly lost someone in a vat when they were building the site. He fell in and impaled himself on some spikes inside. I'm glad I wasn't the one who had to climb in after him and extract him.

Blimey he was lucky to survive, he'd have been a gonner if the spikes had gone into his head & shoulders.

Nah, he'd have been alright - he could just have gone to the clinique...

Re: US worker dies in chocolate vat
But there's a whole galaxy of choc jokes we can revel in, just like minstrels of old.

Re: US worker dies in chocolate vat
I wonder if they will just sling him in a selection box for the funeral?
