The is a Travelodge in Barrow in Furness it just depends what you are looking for in regards to a hotel.

Wireless access, good food, nice beds, aircon (if the weather stays hot), something close enough to walk into the centre if I get bored.

I'm so glad you said that - last time I entered Barrow I was greeted by a burning car in the middle of a field surrounded by chavs! For a moment I thought I was back home until I spotted the sign 'Welcome to Barrow-In-Furness'
