Sick note date query

I have a sick note from my doctor to cover my time off work. I got the sick note today and it says, refrain from work from xxxx to 22/06/2009, which is Monday's date. Does this mean I have been signed off for Monday as well? The note starts on the first day I had off so I think that I am supposed to take Monday off as well.

No back to work I am afraid unless you are going back to the doctors on Monday for another note.

If you take Monday off you will not be covered by any note unless a doctor signs you off from that date again, which would make you in the HR's department eyes "Out of Adherence"
