Felt sick for two weeks
Hi all,
Hoping someone can shed some light on this, my doctors is in the middle of town and it's a right pain to get to.
Ive basically felt sick in my stomach for the last two weeks, ive not been sick or had bad headaches or anything. My stomach is pretty much normal and my eating habits have not changed. It came on the morning after i had a few beers and some food and has stayed ever since. I have not drank for the last two weeks either.
I appreciate any comments.

Re: Felt sick for two weeks
Sounds like possible you have a low level infection/bug, could be from dodgy food/beer..
I'd suggest going to the docs as two weeks is a long time for it to hang around..

Hi southwell, sorry you're feeling under the weather. As Kymmy says, seeing your doctor would be the best bet seeing as this has been going on for so long.
The only other thing that comes to mind, if you're not in any pain or running a temperature, is whether you are under any stress or worried about something.

Thanks all, ive booked in for this morning, it's annoying as the car went into the garage today too!
I am a bit of a worrier, im off on holiday this weekend and don't really like flying, although im not scared of flying. I can't really think of anything that would make me feel like this, the only time ive felt ill for this long is when i had glandular fever. Hopefully the doctor can pinpoint this.
Thanks
Ian

The thing is about stress, you don't realise you're stressed half the time - in fact I blatantly disagree with people when they say I seem stressed - which is a dead-giveaway that I am

Hope not.
The doctor thinks it's stomach acid and prescribed some pills.

I was precribed them a few years back, for the same reason. They thought I had an ulcer, but it turns out it was all due to stress.

I cant see what im stressed about. Must be that subconscious rubbish.
Hopefully once im on holiday i will feel better and actually enjoy it.
The last holiday i went on i got a chest infection the day before and spend 80% of my holiday in bed (not the way i envisioned)

Im off to Sao Bras in Portugal for a week with some mates. Got a villa out in the sticks so it should be a fairly relaxing holiday. It would be nice to enjoy some cool beers at night but we shall see, i would rather not drink than feel worse.

If I were you I'd spend the next few days detoxing, drinking very little alcohol and eating healthy foods in preparation
