Anybody here work for Next?

In Next stores I keep seeing a small numerical display, with two alternating numbers on it. One in red, one in blue.

I've often wondered (as you do) what these numbers mean.

I'm guessing that the red one (which is always higher) is the number of people that have come through the doors, and the green one is the number of sales.

Am I even close?

If not, anybody able to tell me what it does?

Green indicates the numbers of people Next have let leave alive.
