Look @ this Lantern Battery,its amazing how much they charge for AA batteries in packs of 4 when you see whats hidden in here! (For a much lower price (WHICH ISNT SURPRISING IN THE LEAST!!))

Been doing it for years, when I was a kid we used to pinch the flashing lights from the side of the road when they were doing roadworks   we used the big batteries to power our space invader games machines via 2 wires inserted into the power socket until one lad took one battery to pieces to discover loads of AA batteries inside one big lantern battery, these batteries powered our space invader machines.

Erm that is BS a 6Volt battery that has 32 1.5Volt battery's would ve 48 volts
I've seen several "battery hacks" on you tube, DON'T open batterys

Why would they put 32x1.5v = 48v to make up 6v?
and besides that they're not even wired up to each other. they just all drop out

They would be wired in series-parallel. I suggest you know what you're talking about before posting  Anyone with electronics knowledge would know this is entirely possible.

Yep, 4 batteries in series make up the 6v, so 8 of these quad sets in parallel would make up 6v with a higher AH rating
