Anybody from Manchester?
I'm trying to book a hotel or b&b near to Heaton Park, but I usually get the train into Manchester so don't know the surrounding areas too well. Can anyone point me in the direction of a decent place to stay after a concert in June?
Thanking you most kindly

Re: Anybody from Manchester?
There's a premier inn right next to Heaton Park...
http://www.premierinn.com/pti/dropdownSearch.do
Just search from the drop down menu, Manchester is listed there.
Am not sure about accommodation, I've been to Heaton park many many times, but I live fairly local to it, so don't need a place to bunk down.

Re: Anybody from Manchester?
Thanks for the reply Pedantic, but i've tried there and its fully booked (think everyone had the same idea!). How much do you charge for b&b?
If I was to stay in the city, is there good transport links to get me back there at say 11pm?

Re: Anybody from Manchester?
There is a tram stop at Heaton Park, but I do not know how far it is away from where you want...

I've put the feelers out to find somewhere to stay nearby, but if all else fails I'll book a hotel in the city centre and I'm sure all trans will go back there. Thanks
