Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 3
Well, my boss (his wife, actually) had a baby boy on Sunday. Her third. Mother and Baby are both well, apparently.

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 3
Loving my bump But want it to last forever and i don't want it to be gone in 10 weeks
Still, it's getting harder to do everyday things like walking, sitting, standing up, sleeping Strangely it's a happy thought .
So sad that this will be the last time i get to be pregnant (only by choice though!)

Noo i won't be doing anything surgical. I love being pregnant but have no desire (or the bank balance) to have loads of kids I couldn't be a surrogate though either lol.

Yes we did and thanks to all who wished us well...
After doing my wife's hair, I had a lovely few hours out and about with #1 son locally then spent the late afternoon showing him how to make pizza dough so he could create his very own pizza for dinner. A veritable feast of salami, smoked pork sausage, peppers, mushrooms, mozarella, cheddar, green chillies, Yummy!!! We then played Monopoly (his first time) so I could give him a basic grounding in capitalist ethics and the principles of property/finance to set him up for the future..
#2 son enjoyed a lovely afternoon out in the sun at a country park with his carers and had his favourite fish & chips for dinner... AGAIN!! Even though his speech is severely limited, he's evidently a real charmer because he normally manages to persuade the staff to give him all his favourites..
I can't stress how much easier it makes it for us that he enjoys going into respite care so much. We put off trying the service for several years because we were concerned about the prospect of entrusting him to other people but our expectations have been surpassed. It's a different story for some of the children who go however, some get very upset and that must be very hard to deal with for the parents. It's things like that which make us appreciate how lucky we are in so many ways...

Anybody remember the Targa Florio? The track in all its 45.something mile splendor has been released for Grand Prix Legends. Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WRgNJOp32tQ
30-odd minutes a lap. Fun times!
