Replaced the telephone extension with a £15 10m lead from Maplin and the modem line stats have dropped to: 10db down, 3.5db up.
They were 12db down and 4.5db up and many disconnects were had.

OOOhhh I've been accepted onto the new RNIB trial for talking books to come on a memory stick instead of CD Nice.

Very nice.
I love my audio books. Long journeys are only made bearable if I can a nice long story to pass the time.

Oh, I just bung my audio CDs into the audio system of my car and away I go. At home, when I'm working through the night, I just clip on my Discman and lose myself in a nice slice of Morse.
