Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 3
Went out today to buy a couple of new ink cartridges for my old Lexmark printer (which I haven't used for a year or so, but needed urgently). Found a HP DeskJet 4580 all-in-one scanner/copier/printer with Wifi for £20 less than the combined cost of the two cartridges..

That's the printer I use and it's a little beauty. I love the way it just copied the wifi signal from my laptop and main computer. I was dreading setting it up and it did it on it's own. My kind of technology. Just wish it was as cheap when I bought it as it is now I could have bought another pair of shoes with the savings. ........

Well, I have to admit, part of my reasoning was simply that I haven't used the old printer for a while. I have no reason to assume it is not working, but I don't know. I would have had to buy the two cartridges to find out if it did, and if I had, and it failed, I would have wasted the money.

you will find when the ink runs out you most likely will be buying another new printer lol
Before I choose a printer I ensure there are compatibles available for them at a fair price in my experience as HP and Lexmark put the print heads on the cart the only chance of saving some cash is by buying remanufactured where the ink quality is no less suspect than in compats

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 3
I have a HP DeskJet F380, and the Asda and Morrison compatibles are fine on it.

nice to have a few games it

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 3
Just had some friends round for dinner (lasagne and chilli).
3 bottles of fizz, 2 bottles of red, 1 bottle of white, 1 bottle of port, 8 x 0.5 litre bottles of lager - just enough for five of us; which made playing on Wii Sports/Fit interesting.
Time for bed - work in the morning (for my wife - I am off until next Tuesday ).

Nah - fine.
Up, dropping my wife off at work, and going shopping for a new bathroom now.
