Birmingham advice please!

Am having trouble finding info, and I'm usually good at this sort of thing... Must be cos it's that time of month.. anyway!..

I need to find out - how to get from Birmingham Digbeth Coach Station, to the NEC. Preferably by lazy taxi - how much shouldI be looking at?

If I did get the train, do I go from Moor Street or New Street?

I need to get back to the coach station for 3.30pm, what time should I leave the NEC - train or taxi? I believe there is a rank there isn't there?

thank you in advance for any help.

Re: Birmingham advice please!

Does your bus/coach stop at Birmingham Airport 'cos that's next to the NEC?

The train station there is Birmingham International.

Re: Birmingham advice please!

No, it only goes to the coach station. I'm sure it used to stop at the airport

Re: Birmingham advice please!

OK you would be about 14 1/2 miles from the NEC at that coach station. That equates to about 1/2 hour driving.

An 11 min walk to New Street station, train to Birm Int'l and 20 walk to the NEC would work out around 45 mins.

I assume you are going Mon/Tues for the CRS?

Edit: A typical taxi fare between The airport and the city centre is about £20 each way
