What is your favourite Supermarket?
Watchdog on BBC 1 did a recent survey to find out which supermarket, is the Brits favourite.
They had approx 36,000 total voters and they won in the following order...
The watchdog results were as follows...
1) Waitrose/Ocado - 21 per cent
2) Sainsbury's - 19 per cent
3) Tesco - 15 per cent
4) Asda - 14 per cent
5) Morrisons - 10 per cent
6) Marks and Spencer - 9 per cent
Surprisingly, some of the bigger names like Tesco and Asda are way down in the favourite list...
So I thought, CF should do their own poll and see what the results should be...
Which is your favourite Supermarket and why? Have you switched recently and which Supermarket do you love to hate?

Patience is a virtue. The thread is posted before you set the poll.

I just had an itch to post, Tesco for convenience when I pick SWMBO up from work.
I also frequent ALDI, Somerfield, ASDA and infrequently Morrisons and rarely COOP, LIDL and NETTO.

Re: What is your favourite Supermarket?
Aldi for preference - otherwise Tesco 'cos it is the nearest & I get clubcard points on my company mileage

Tesco - they've always got what I want unlike my local cornershop where "sorry we haven't got any" is their motto and at the same time moans that people are choosing the 'big guns' over the smaller businesses.

Re: What is your favourite Supermarket?
As it's not multiple choice I decline to answer...mainly as just about every supermarket in that list gives me some products better than others

Re: What is your favourite Supermarket?
It was Somerfield but that's about to end in a few days due to the merger and closures . Morrisons and Sainsburys will take over now.

Re: What is your favourite Supermarket?
Seriously though Tesco's do fantastic Tiger rolls, Adsa does a gorgeous Cracked Pepper Chedder, Morrisons does nice stuffed breat of lamb and sainsbury has some excellent local cheeses... I use all of them about the same ...the ONLY one I use more is Co-Op (not on your list Mick ) purely due to the fact that they're 400meters away from me in the village....

Re: What is your favourite Supermarket?
Certainly be interesting to see what difference a year or so makes to the outcome

Re: What is your favourite Supermarket?
Yep, a year ago I would have said Morrisons (mainly as they were the ONLY supermarket south of watford gap that sold Mushy Peas)
