Anybody use UPS?

I've just registered with UPS (need to ship two small packages to the States) and created a shipment.

As part of the shipment options I tol dthem the parcel would be ready by 12 noon next Tuesday and selected the option to have it collected by 5pm on that day. The delivery option chosen was for deilivery before 5pm on the Thursday of next week.

Do I have to now go in to their system and request a collection, or will they automatically collect based on those details?

Thanks
