I have a 1999 Micra and the electric windows freeze randomly. The Nissan agent says it is the cold weather. I don't believe it. Has anyone else had this problem - and solved it?

Have you tried looking/posting on a Nissan forum? You might find its a common problem. I found a renault forum for my old car when i had it - it was invaluable and saved me lots of $

good advice
- however a lot of 'solutions' to this problem seem to involve 're-bonding' the window glass to the mechanism - it may be worth trying the option of applying a silicone lubricant to the glass runners & rubbers, first ???
