I'm going to see Royksopp at the South Bank centre Royal Festival Hall in London and wondered if anyone could give me a few tips on the quickest way to get there from St pancras. It's on a Saturday.
Also, what time is the last tube at night ? From what I can see they don't run very late so maybe if anyone knows any cheap hotels nearby that would be useful.

Dunno how late Royksoop will play, but the last tubes from Waterloo appear to be around 00:20 to 00:30.

LOL - I've got it wrong before too. I'm glad I'm not the only one. Got it right this time though.
The concert finishes at 10 but with most things I'm assuming it will over run.
Last train back from St Pancras is at 10.25pm which I am guarenteed to miss.
I think I will have to stay the night. I hope there are some Formula1 or equivilent cheap hotels around.
Lots of hotels around there - not the cheapest though; expect to pay about £80 for a Holiday Inn Express. You can maybe get a room slightly cheaper in Southwark which is only about 10 mins walk away but even there central London on a Saturday night isn't going to be budget.
I guess everything including hotels is going to be expensive in London, and as you say it is Saturday night. I'll keep that Holiday inn Express in mind and keep looking.
