Best Flower delivery company ?
Hey all.
So I thought I would suprise the missus with some flowers but trying to find any reviews on flower delivery companies is a nightmare.
Any suggestions? There seems to be thousands of sites!
I dont want to spend £25 on a limp bunch of weeds, Valentines day huh!
Thanks

Re: Best Flower delivery company ?
interflora are good, but pricey. You are far better off contacting a local florist, setting a budget rather than going for a specific bunch, & asking them to come up with something.
Personally, I would rather have a large bunch of mixed flowers (though you will need to ask for just red & violet, or red & pink ) than a handful of red roses that would usually cost £3.99 from asda but cos it's valentines will be about £20 no doubt...

Re: Best Flower delivery company ?
Interflora haven't let me down, but cost a fortune.
I tend to use local florists (either local to me, or if the person is across the country, use one local to her found via Google Local) and its nice because I can order whatever what I want rather than what's on the Interflora site and is much cheaper and normally with free delivery. That hasn't let me down either. Only trouble with that is you can't see it before the order is made.

Re: Best Flower delivery company ?
Tesco do cheap roses, but there's something distinctly unromantic about giving your loved one something that's the cheapest possible. If it weren't, i'd be a lot richer these days!
Makes me laugh about the Tesco ads where they have bubbly and chocolates for £5. "Wow, we've been married for 20 years and you've managed to scrap together a whole £5 to show your love for me". He'd be getting £5 worth of love later in bed i'm sure.

you didn't leave a label on did you?
if there's a Clintons or a flower stall in your town, you could always give them a couple of quid and ask them to re-wrap them for you
e.g. Asda have got roses at £2 a bunch, you could buy 5 - and they have the wrapping stuff there for when they do gift baskets and stuff...
