Anybody been to Egypt?

Hi all,

Looking at doing a cruise on the Nile with excursion to Cairo.

We've found so far: 7 nights criuse on the Nile and then 7 nights hotel in Luxor, but we can't really find anything that has 7 nights cruise then onto Cairo...

Looks at Kouni - quite expensive there!

Just wondered if anybody knew of any independant specialists...

Any ideas?

Cheers

Lee

I've been to Egypt twice, only to Hurghada though. Went with Thomas Cook both times. I would have a look around on the moneysavingexpert site, there are travel agents on there that will try and out-do each other with quotes. Also tripadvisor.co.uk is useful for people's opinions & tips.

Don't know what it's like for cruises, but when I was there a couple of years ago we had no problems sorting out hotels and transport and a 3 day felucca trip down the Nile just by turning up and negotiating.
