Washing Help
Just need a little advise, these are my work trousers so i don't want them to get damaged.
On the label it says Dry Clean Only and the material is 68% Polyester and 32% Viscoso, i know that viscoso doesn't go well wth water, but just how bad is it?
Is it ok to put in the washing machine with the rest of my clothes im about to put in at 40c?

Re: Washing Help
Me, I'd go with the label's guidance.

Re: Washing Help
You'll wreck the trousers if you machine wash them. If you don't want to take them to the dry cleaners, do it from home; http://www.lakeland.co.uk/hagerty!RE.../product/21276
I haven't got a lot of stuff that needs dry cleaning, but it's idea for stuff that's not to dirty.

Re: Washing Help
Very Cool shortest wash with shortest low speed spin and drip dry DO NOT STICK IN THE TUMBLE DRYER. Use colour safe liquid too. Smooth out any creases whilst the trousers are still very damp, very light cool iron once almost dry.
Polyester is a fairly robust material whereas viscose is softer & more delicate.
If they are supplied by work you should be able to claim for cleaning if not you should get some washable trews.

Beat me to it.....
But on a serious note I hate "dry Clean Only " garments. Next do some great washabble trousers for work, so I'd say dump those trousers and get some washable ones.

Re: Washing Help
the label says dry clean only... dry clean them. the advice you are looking for is apparently on the trousers!

Re: Washing Help
Only one suit and a silk dress ever go to the dry cleaner, the rest gets chucked in the washing machine regardless (always on a short low temperature wash) and so far so good and better off too.
