GEM Motoring Assistance Breakdown Cover

Hi

I have just received the renewal costs for my AA Car Breakdown Cover and it is unbelievable.

I have been searching the internet for a cheaper reputable Car Breakdown/Recovery service and came across GEM Motoring Assistance.

I like the look of their 'Recovery Extra' package.

There are good reviews on the internet but wondered if anyone here has any experience of them and their services.

I've been a member for 18 years (now have my 29 year badge). Have called on their rescue help three times... every times the outcome was very rapid (they use local garages) and the refunds were with me about 2 days later.

Recommended... but read the fine print of course as with all contracts as they are not perfect for every driver in every circumstance.

They have other perks as well, but you can find out about them on the website.

I am looking at their 'Recovery Extra' package as I do not always carry much cash or have my debit/credit card with me.

GEM does have good reviews.

I have been with the AA for 21 years, I have Roadside, Homestart & Complemetary Relay. (Â£120 ish IIRC)

I will never go elsewhere the AA are the best, and worth every penny.
