Smile Ideas for a charity hike in the North West

Hello! Wondering if anyone can help?!

I'm currently looking for organised charity hikes in the North West (well within 1 1/2 hours travelling distance from Manchester) for my company as part of our CSR Committee.

Does anyone know of any? Either connected to a specific charity or ones where we can choose the charity ourselves and around the 26 mile distance range....

....I'm not having much luck as most seem to be either down south or in scotland!

Any help appreciated!

K

Are you looking for a ready-made charity walk with all the organisation done for you or just for a suitable walk that you can do yourselves?

We're looking for a pre-organised walk where there will be other teams taking part.

Sort of what you mean by organised. Many people do this each year in one format or another http://www.thethreepeakschallenge.co.uk/

If the drive to Horton-in-Ribblesdale is not too long then I'd definitely suggest you give the Yorkshire 3-peaks a go.

This is 'only' 24.5 miles but is quite a challenge. I ran it (and a bit more) a few weeks ago in deep snow. Once a year some run it as a race. The record is under 3 hours!!!

Many charities organise events there too - just Google for them. Here's one from the Red Cross:
