Lottery, national outage
Unable to get lotto anywhere, camelot has a problem (although I cant find anything about it online) Cant even purchase tickets online from
http://www.national-lottery.co.uk/pl...owGameLobby.do
Everything is unavailiable. I hope this is rectified shortly, I always put our syndicate lotto on, on a Saturday.

Re: Lottery, national outage
If they can't get the machines and/or website up and running soon, I wonder if they'll postpone the draw(s)? Normally the majority of their ticket sales are done on the afternoon/evening of each draw. So the prize pot will be well below par.
However - The less ticket sales you have, the less chance of a J/Pot winner = more sales for the subsequent rollover.

Re: Lottery, national outage
The lotto terminal was out of order in our local ASDA, but when we went to Sainsburys it was working.

Re: Lottery, national outage
it's sporadic. I was at work from 10am and it was on and off then, sometimes it worked as soon as you put a ticket through, but most of the time it would take 5 - 20 minutes for one ticket to go through and while it was stuck trying to do that one transaction, you can't do anything else like check winning tickets or pay out on scratchcards either.
the most frustrating thing was trying to explain to people "it's a NATIONWIDE issue!" as they proceed to moan for the 3rd time that they've just been in town and it's not working there either, but they'll just pop next door and do it instead are you deaf? or just stupid?
I printed out an odd handful of lucky dips on thunderball and lotto when it was having one of it's little spells of working though

Mugs? No.
While I personally don't play the lottery, a lot of people have benefited from the money made from the people who do.
