speaker on dado rail

I’m getting theses speakers

I need some advice please.

I want to attach them to my dado rail which I have above head height. Hopefully I will be able to hide the cable behind the rail.
Does anyone know the best way to attach them to the rail and have them pointed downwards?
Is there a bit I can get? Any help with thanks.

You probably mean 'picture rail'. Get some picture rail hooks and some brass wire and just hang them like a picture.

To point them downwards you will probably need to scour the DIY shops for 90 degree angle brackets. Fix those to the wall first and then fix the speaker brackets to your new wall brackets.

There is a possibility they will come with some kind of wall brackets anyway, which you may have to modify (bend) to get them to point downwards,

i hate wires too, its a pet hate of mine, what i did for the rear surround sound speakers at least was to chizel a small groove into the plaster right in each corner (used a screw driver) and then skimmed over with plaster then papered over the top, a bit extreme i know but well worth the effort they look a decent piece of kit.

if you had to fabricate something from scratch, then it wouldnt be that difficult to make some small brackets, as long as you have a drill, hacksaw and bit of flat metal, you could always then spray it to match

If you're really clever then you could use two hooks per speaker and then use the hanging cords as conductors - or use something posh like clear-insulated speaker cable.
