Re: need help
You probably need to convert the videos to MP4.
After the video files or DVD are converted to Sony Walkman NWZ-E436F compatible video files, you need to transfer them to the player. You need to install Windows Media Player 11 at first, you can download it from Microsoft's website or install it from the installation disc. Then connect your Sony Walkman NWZ-E436F directly to the computer. Sony Walkman NWZ-E436F will be recognized as a storage media. Then you can use Windows explorer to drag and drop the video files to Video folder.

Drag-and-drop your favourite content
Transferring video and music to your WALKMAN® is so easy with drag-and-drop, you'll have your whole library at your fingertips in seconds. Using Windows Media Player 11®, iTunes® or Windows Explorer, managing your playlists and moving files over is hassle-free. Just drag, drop, relax and enjoy.

So as long as the content you're got on the PC is compatible with the Sony, just find the Sony device in `My Computer', should be in there somewhere, under `Devices and Removable Storage' and `Drag `n' drop the content in.
If it's video you're got to make sure the formats right for the Sony: - QuickTime format
- WMV format
- MPEG4 Simple Profile format
- AVC (H.264/AVC) Baseline, Main Profile
- RSS: QuickTime format / MPEG4 SP format / AVC(H.264/AVC) Baseline, Main Profile
If you're still having problems transfering, try the `Content Transfer' software,
