http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/...st/7784366.stm
Boy is this true! I especially like this bit....

Many held the view if someone is meant to be with you, then they should know what you want without you telling them.

Ladies - newsflash: it doesn't work like that!

Watching romantic comedies can spoil your love life, a study by a university in Edinburgh has claimed.

I've had this opinion for a few years now, although I've never spoke about it. I feel strangely vindicated.

Re: Women - listen up!
Yeah most of my relationships have fell apart because somehow I have never been able to read minds. If its not me meant to know something there is no possibility of me knowing its when I explain something in the simplest terms possible and she still says "what you mean"
Its like " the sun is out today"
she says " what you mean"
The its like " I cant explain it any simpler the sun is out woman its not hard to understand " lol maybe this reaction is why they failed really lol

The university's Dr Bjarne Holmes said: "Marriage counsellors often see couples who believe that sex should always be perfect, and if someone is meant to be with you then they will know what you want without you needing to communicate it.

Nowhere in that article does it state that it's the female of the species that this applies to...Which makes me wonder why you aimed it at us women..

They found fans of films such as Runaway Bride and Notting Hill often fail to communicate with their partner.

How many fellas do you reckon hop up and down with glee when they find out the above films are on telly??? How many "lads night in" feature those films on DVD?

How many fellas do you think hold the above opinion?? How often is it reported in couples that the man doesn't want to have to tell tell his woman how he's feeling, because "if she loved him, she'd already know"???
