11-plus
How well can you do
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/magazine/7773974.stm
15 example 11-plus questions with a 10:00 minute timer.
I got 15/15 with 3:09 to spare, a couple of questions (10 & 15) nearly throwing me

Re: 11-plus
Grammar beckons!
You've scored 9 out of 15.
Some of those questions were a bit pointless?

Re: 11-plus
14/15. Seemed mostly pretty simple, barely 2 minutes work...except I couldn't get #15! I was kinda expecting it to be a single linear sequence.

Re: 11-plus
LOL. The pressure. 15/15 with 2:56 left to go. I don't still don't understand question 15 even though I got the right answer. I think I need to go and lie down in a dark room.

Re: 11-plus
11/15, ran out of time though. Looks like my maths let me down.

Re: 11-plus
14/15 but the timer failed on me and only gave me 10 secs! Still think I did it in under 10 min. It was the last question I failed on - not good at thinking about double sequences...

Re: 11-plus
I got them all (easily) except for 7 and 8. Can't work out what or how it should be done. The answers don't explain them either. Can anyone explain please?

The answers are here
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/magazine/7773954.stm
They were code sequences - you have enough letters common to more than one word to be able to work out which letter corresponded to which number.
