Manchester Apollo
Can anyone recommend any restaurants within walking distance of the Manchester Apollo theatre, for tonight.
Off to a gig (Steel City Tour), and looking for somewhere to eat beforehand.
Cheers (in hopeful anticipation).

Re: Manchester Apollo
You're parking in the city centre right? you're better off eating there as Ardwick is not the most pleasant of neighbourhoods.
and it'll either be "Can I look after yer car mistoh?"
or your car won't there at all/partially dissasembled when you come out.

Thank you for the suggestion, but I was thinking more along the lines of digestible food......

Re: Manchester Apollo
If memory serves me right, there is a (i think) Indian restaurant on Upper Brook Street at the corner of Brunswick Street that pretty decent. Been a while since I've been up that area so no idea what its called or if it's still there, but I am sure it is.
Although, as Uncle Peter says, if you plan to part in the City Centre, eat there - there are tons of places and only a short cab ride/bus ride to/from the apollo.

Re: Manchester Apollo
If you're coming in from the 62 the M.E.N. Arena car park is a good bet providing there isn't an event on there. Well signposted and a relatively short distance from the motorway. 5 minute walk from the Printworks where there are several decent places you can eat.

I thought it was...pre-digested....
I agree though with the park in the city advice, grab a taxi to the apollo (only 5 minutes away) and then taxi back...Manchesters got a fantastic range of chinese restaurants...or catch a taxi directly to Wilmslow road (about 10 minutes away) if you fancy a curry from the curry mile...

Re: Manchester Apollo
I'd set out early and eat at one of many places in and around the print works, my son and his girlfriend often eat in that area. There's plenty of parking. but be prepared to pay the nearer you park to the town center.
